Prayer and Meditation
Affirmative prayer is the highest form of creative thought. It includes the release of counterproductive, negative thoughts, as well as holding in mind statements of spiritual truth. Through meditation, we experience the presence of God. Prayer and meditation heighten our awareness and thereby transform our lives.
Unity of Auburn Prayer Chaplains
The Unity of Auburn Prayer Chaplains are here to support you on your spiritual journey whether it's to celebrate a joy or pray about a concern. We do this in several ways:
1. We create and hold sacred space with you.
2. We lovingly listen to you and hold what is heard in the strictest confidence.
3. We pray with you.
After Sunday Services
We are available to pray with you after Sunday services. We usually stand or sit by the platform at the front of the sanctuary.
Prayer Line Call the Prayer Line at 530-888-7777 for a recorded positive and uplifting prayer any time of day.
Monthly Wellness Calls
We call members of Unity of Auburn at least once every two months. Please call the office if you are a member of Unity of Auburn and have never received a wellness call from a Prayer Chaplain.
Request Home or Hospital Visits
Our Prayer Chaplains and Ministers are here for you in your time of need. In order to honor everyone's preferences and desire for privacy, if you would like a visit in your home or hospital room, we ask that you or someone you authorize to call us on your behalf at 530-888-6489.
Silent Unity
There is a light that shines in Silent Unity 24 hours a day. This light represents a spiritual light generated by more than 100 years of constant prayer. It is the light of thousands of voices who join in spreading words of faith and blessing. It is a light lit by many decades of faith in God and by man hearts and minds united in the love of God.
