In Hollywood, they say it takes smart actors to play stupid characters, and nice guys to play nasty villains. As an actor, Ronny is the poster-boy for the latter point playing slithery corporate snakes in "Robo Cop" and "Total Recall." You will also recognize him from Star Trek, The Next Generation. However, in his alter ego as a singer-songwriter, he is a study in easygoing amiability and unforced charisma. He charms crowds with self-teasing humor, tart progressive insight, and a lulling Southwestern folk sound. His repertoire is a smart mix of witty ditties, bluesy swing tunes, heart-on-sleeve romances, and real-life anthems. Don't miss this great performer. Bring your friends!

A Woman's Day Apart: Evolution not Resolution

Instead of making resolutions this year (which seems to fail far more than succeed), why don't we intentionally look at what we want to manifest by using our "evolved conscious awareness" and mindfully create it in 2012? During the workshop we will do this through group discussions, personal journaling and exercises. We will have a healthy lunch and time to walk if the weather permits.

Chaplain Orientation

Prayer Chaplains are trained to pray affirmatively, release counterproductive negative thoughts and hold in mind statements of spiritual Truth for those they are praying with. They listen to prayer requests and keep everything they hear in confidence. Being a Prayer Chaplain is an honor and blesses both the chaplain and the person they are praying with. At the orientation we will go over the requirements needed to be a chaplain and answer any questions you have.
